There are generally two methods that software suppliers use to provide upgrades to end users. The first method is the Purchased Upgrade approach. This requires end-users to purchase new versions of the software at regular price or a slightly discounted price as upgrades are made available. The second method is the approach used by Event 1 Software. This is the Essential Success Membership method and allows end-users to obtain any number of upgrades by paying a small annual fee.
