Integrator was developed by Event 1 Software, Inc., an authorized Sage Development Partner in partnership with select Meridian Project Systems customers. This is an application designed and built to meet your financial data integration needs. Integrator eliminates dual entry and worry by seamlessly integrating your Sage Timberline Office financial information with Prolog Manager’s robust cost control module. This tool saves you time and enables complete cost-to-date reporting!

Licensing

Integrator is licensed according to the specific types of data that you wish to exchange.  In this way, you have a wide variety of options available but you only need to pay for the options that you plan to use.  Each arrow in the list above represents a licensed feature.

Features

Feature Description
Connectivity Clearly one of Event 1 Software’s signature traits is the ease with which products connect to Sage Timberline Office or SQL databases. Integrator makes use of proven techniques and components to make the connection to your Sage Timberline Office or Prolog Manager database easy. The connection to your Sage Timberline Office database is made via the ODBC driver for Sage Timberline Office and there is no need on your part to perform any special configuration. Event 1 Software’s ODBC connectivity takes care of it for you! On the Prolog Manager end, Integrator makes use of the Meridian Application Integration SDK (Software Developer Kit). The SDK allows Integrator to access your Prolog Manager database while the SDK enforcing business and database rules.
Wizard Driven When there is a setup or workflow task to accomplish that may involve multiple steps, an Integrator wizard guides you through the necessary steps.
Easy Workflow The workflow process for integration consists of three steps. These three steps may also be combined into a single operation if desired.
Reports After the “Determine Modifications” and “Perform Modifications” steps of the workflow process, Integrator produces a recap of the task. This provides a list of the data that was added or changed as well as any related warning messages or rejections. All reports are produced in an easy-to-navigate HTML format that can be saved, retrieved, and printed.
Flexible Mappings Sage Timberline Office Job Cost and Prolog Manager each provide a different set of options for defining the work breakdown structure (WBS) of a job. Integrator overcomes this by providing a “WBS Relationship Wizard” that guides you through the setup of a mapping between the two structures.

Other user-defined mappings include company/vendor types, address types, contacts, contract/commitment types, contract/commitment dates and subcontract CO/commitment CO dates.

Flexible Settings The user-defined settings for each interface give you control over how data will be exchanged and when.
Substitution Tables Substitution Tables allow you to define sets of Sage Timberline Office/Prolog values that can be used to translate dissimilar values. Substitution tables can be created for:

  • Company & Vendor IDs
  • Project & Job Numbers
  • Budget Codes & Cost Codes/Categories
  • Contract & Commitment IDs

Each type of substitution table is licensed separatly allowing you to purchase only the level of functionality that you need.

Unattended Operation Integration tasks can be executed via a command-line, batch file or scheduled task using the Integrator Tasks application (included).
