Sage Timberline Office allows selected types of records and transactions to be imported from properly formatted text files.  Office Connector Import puts this technology in your hands by removing the complexities associated with formatting your data according to the precise rules in Sage Timberline Office.  You have the freedom to organize your data in Excel how you wish and Office Connector Import collects your data and assembles it into the desired import files.  There is no need to modify or adapt the layout of your report to accommodate the file formats required by Sage Timberline Office.  Once the Office Connector Import functions have been added to a report, you can use that report over and over again to quickly create import files.  You will not lose time recreating and/or reformatting the information to produce import files each time!

Saving Import Files When you are ready to create an import file, simply click a button and let Office Connector Import do the rest!  There is no need to rearrange or reformat your worksheets or to save your workbook in a different format.  Office Connector Import collects the data it requires based on the instructions within the workbook and then assembles your import file in the correct format.

Macro Support Creating an import file is only the first step in getting your data into Sage Timberline Office.  Next, the file must be imported using one of the import functions in Sage Timberline Office.  To make this a more streamlined process, you can record a macro in Sage Timberline Office that includes the steps needed to import your file.  Then, just give Office Connector Import the name of your macro and let it run the macro for you when it creates the import file.
Online Help All Office Connector functions and tools are fully documented in online help that is quickly accessible from within Excel.

Licensing

Office Connector Import is licensed separately for each type of import file that you plan to create.  There is no restriction on the number of users who can utilize a license at one time.  The types of import files that can be licensed include:
