Does my Event 1 Software application affect the performance of Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate?

Symptom

While using Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate applications (such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Job Cost, Property Management, etc), you encounter delays while entering or processing data, or you find that certain workflow tasks or reports take longer than expected.

Answer

Event 1 Software applications function separately from Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate applications and do not impact how they function.  Performance issues or other problems that you might experience while using Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate applications are not caused or influenced in any way by the use or installation of your Event 1 Software applications except for the potential case described in the next paragraph.

Keep in mind that depending on your operating environment, any task that processes a large volume of data might have an impact on the performance of your workstation, network, or server while the task is running.  This applies not only to reports and integration tasks being executed in your Event 1 Software application, but also tasks that you might perform in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate or even other applications.

If you feel that the performance of your Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate software is not as it should be, we strongly suggest that you contact your support representative for Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate or a qualified IT professional to get assistance with diagnosing the possible causes.

Successful remedies to poor performance or system instability often take the form of hardware upgrades (e.g., replacing a defective network card), updates to Windows, device drivers, anti-virus programs, or other system configuration corrections.
