2019 Aug 15 – Recent Microsoft Updates Causing Program Exceptions & Errors

Update

Microsoft has announced that they have resolved the issues caused by recent Microsoft updates, which were affecting both our software and other software which use the same Microsoft technologies. Microsoft's fixes are available as OPTIONAL Windows updates.

While we have confirmed that Microsoft's fixes resolve the symptoms in our software, Microsoft reports that the fixes may introduce issues with other software or Windows features. These new issues do not impact our software but may affect other functionality in your environment.

We strongly recommend having I.T. personnel thoroughly review the list of Microsoft updates available for your system and researching the changes made and potential issues for each update before installing.
