Liberty Reports Desktop

Liberty Reports Desktop serves as a starting point to access report templates and documentation. To open Liberty Reports Desktop, double-click its icon on the Windows Desktop or click Start, then Programs > Event 1 Software > Liberty Reports Desktop.

Welcome Tab

The welcome tab provides access to the web-based online documentation. The content on this page therefore requires an Internet connection.

Report Tab(s)

For each edition of Liberty Reports, you will see a separate tab that contains a listing of the report templates provided with that edition. To launch a report, simply double-click the report template.

Toolbar

OpenThis is a drop-down button that provides the following options:
  • Open File - Launches the currently selected report. If the report is stored as an Excel template, a new Excel workbook will be created based on the template. If the report is stored as an Excel workbook, the workbook will be opened.
  • Open File Location - Opens Windows Explorer in the folder where the file is stored.
ViewThis is a drop-down button that provides the following options:
  • Icons - Shows the list of reports as icons.
  • Details - Shows the list of reports vertically with columns that identify the date, type, and size of each file. While using this view, the list can be sorted by clicking on any column header.

Your own custom reports can be displayed here by placing your report templates in an existing reports folder or into a custom reports folder.
