Select Database (Single Connection)

This window is displayed when you click the Select Databases toolbar button and the current workbook only queries data from a single connection.

Databases
  • Name - This is the name given in Liberty Reports to identify the database.
  • Connects To - This is the fully qualified name of the database relative to the type of database and how databases of that type are identified (e.g., file & path, server name, etc).
Add

Opens the New Database Wizard for the type of database needed.

Refresh List

Attempts to communicate with the database server or application software to obtain a list of known databases.

Select

Dismisses this window and associates the selected database with the connection being used in the report. This triggers an immediate refresh of the report.

Cancel

Dismisses this window without switching to a different database.
