This value is optional. If supplied, it may be supplied as a number, letter, or word:
- 1 | R | Replace
- 2 | A | Add
If not supplied, the value of "Add" will be used for all transaction types except for PercentComplete which will use the default value of "Replace".
Add
This will result in the a transaction being created for the amount (or units) specified in your import file. When the transaction is posted, the master file totals will be updated by adding the new amount to the existing total.
Replace
This will result in the a transaction being created for the difference between the current master file total and the amount (or units) specified in your import file. When the transaction is posted, the master file totals will be updated by adding the new amount to the existing total. The resulting total will therefore equal the amount specified in your import file.
