You should do this so that when your Office Connector solution is used, the user will be creating a new workbook from a template rather than opening and changing the original design.<\/p>\r\n<strong>Steps<\/strong>\r\n<ol>\r\n    <li>Remove any values by doing one of the following:\r\n        <ul>\r\n            <li>Enter blank parameter values or parameter values that would produce no results and then refresh data<\/li>\r\n            <li>Refresh data using an empty database.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.event1software.com\/wp-content\/resources\/S300CRE_Blank.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here<\/a> to download<\/li>\r\n        <\/ul><\/li>\r\n    <li>Open the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.event1software.com\/e1\/how-do-i-access-the-workbook-properties-window\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Workbook Properties<\/a> window<\/li>\r\n    <li>In the <strong>Properties<\/strong> list, click <strong>TimberlineDataFolder<\/strong><\/li>\r\n    <li>In the <strong>Value<\/strong> box, type: <code>Prompt<\/code><\/li>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong><\/li>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>Edit Links<\/strong> under the <strong>Data Tab<\/strong><\/li>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>Startup Prompt...<\/strong><\/li>\r\n    <li>Select the <strong>Don't display the alert and don't update automatic links<\/strong> option<\/li>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>, then click <strong>Close<\/strong><\/li>\r\n    <ul style=\"list-style-type: none\">\r\n        <li><strong>NOTE -<\/strong> The Edit Links button will be grayed out if the workbook doesn't contain any OC\/OCI\/LR functions.<\/li>\r\n    <\/ul>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>File<\/strong> and then <strong>Save As<\/strong><\/li>\r\n    <li>In the <strong>Save as type<\/strong> box, select one of the following options\r\n        <ul>\r\n            <li><strong>Excel Template (*.xltx)<\/strong> - Use this if your workbook does not contain any Excel macros<\/li>\r\n            <li><strong>Excel Macro-Enabled Template (*.xltm)<\/strong> - Use this if your workbook contains Excel macros<\/li>\r\n            <li><strong>Excel 97-2003 Template (*.xlt)<\/strong> - Use this to provide backward compatibility with older versions of Excel<\/li>\r\n        <\/ul><\/li>\r\n    <li>In the <strong>Save in<\/strong> box, select your report templates folder<\/li>\r\n    <li>In the <strong>File name<\/strong> box, type desired name for the template<\/li>\r\n    <li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong><\/li>\r\n    <li>When you see the following message, click <strong>No<\/strong><br\/>\r\n        <i>This workbook contains external data.
